Cactus- Echinocereus pulchellus| (3.15" pot)

Echinocereus pulchellus—whose name means "beautiful little hedgehog cereus"—is a tiny, globe-shaped Mexican cactus that shrinks and retreats underground during drought, making it a true survival artist. What makes it special is its oversized, funnel-shaped blooms in rose-pink to magenta  (3" across) that crown this miniature gem in spring, plus its thickened taproot that stores precious water.
